Summer ’97, got a special gift from London…put cd on my player and the work was done!
From “Bloody Money” to “L.A. L.A.” and so on, it definitely takes place in my top 20 albums. They grew up in Queensbridge and LeFrak City, endured coarse childhood and went nonstop inside and out from correctional houses or jail, so you can clearly get street life on their rhymes. Only first album went high, cause after that they moved over from Penalty Records to Tommy Boy Records (thus collaboration with Tragedy Khadafy came to an end) , Capone used to be an assidous guest of jail and so they prematurely lost their magic mixture.
Track featured Tragedy and produced by Carlos “Six July” Broady, whose name is new to me.
Noreaga was bound to terminate album on his own, because Capone…ok you already know! Indeed you can listen to some phone calls from Nore to his pal.
Grab their video, they were loud and hardcore…and slim!
