Awesome, top notch – mad dope – true vibin’ real hip hop flava!
I was there. I grew up in NYC 80s and 90s and listened to, honestly, Red Alert on 98.7 kiss more, but always rocked the Mr. Magic & Marley Marl mixes.

Great post as always, but didn’t you guys think it was weird timing, with the heart attack and all? I guess it doesn’t matter; anyone who doesn’t know about Marley Marl needs to learn ASAP. hey listen marley and red are hip hop royalty there the reason i still love hip hop not the new but the old i was like most of you i listened every saturday switching from station to station but that wasnt it dont forget the old 105.7 station in ny they played hot hip hop as well the awesome 2 teddy ted classic and for those who are interested free of charge of course i have a mix cd i found now get this it has the b-side of fantasy three biters in the city yes fantasy 3 biters in the city i was looking for it 4ever and found it by accident hit me at my email if you want it rdrungo@gmail.com as we said in the 80′s audi 5000 peace…
