If you are in love with the first Smif N Wessun album , you will appreciate this sample that i have found. The group is The Mad Lads and the Smif N Wessun song is wrektime.They recorded for the Stax during the sixty.

The Mad Lads song is Get out of my life , woman. The groove is really deep. The drums are super hard, and the John Gary Williams vocals get rougher as the song progresses, especially as he’s joined by the rest of the group with their instruments. This song is quite solid. Maintaining a funky groove. I bet you will like it.

The song is included in the album “In Action” ( 1966 )
